AChDA works through its board of directors and its associates distributed in the following Working Groups:

• Institutions and User Organizations;
• Groundwater;
• Infrastructure and New Sources;
• Ecosystem services;
• Human Consumption;
• International Water Law;
• Information and Database.

Every new associate has the right to join these tables and participate actively. The result of the work of the work groups is channeled by the board of directors to the assembly, which pronounces by majority of its partners on the different matters. In turn, the board of directors works through three committees that are related to the polling stations, which are:

• Development and Communications Committee;
• Regulation Committee and
• Administration and Finance Committee.
